Attention: Chairpersons

1. IMPORTANT: Please make sure that you read the A.A. pamphlet titled “Problems other than alcohol” by Bill W., co-founder of A.A. You can find a copy on the book shelf in the back of the meeting room.

2. Please check the announcements before your meetings, so you can remember to make the necessary announcements at the end of your meeting.

3. We have NEWCOMER PACKETS available to issue during meetings. (You can pass the envelope around the room for people who would like to help the newcomer, to share their names and numbers).

Attention: Group members

1. Birthday night: is on Saturday, April 27^th, 2024 with dinner starting at 7:00 PM and sobriety anniversaries celebration starting at 8:00 PM. Everyone is welcome to attend, even non-alcoholics.

2. Prayer and Meditation meetings are now available everyday at 7:00 AM and takes around 25 minutes. Everyone is welcome to attend.

3. The Hospitals and Institutions (H&I) team are looking for people to help carry the message to Discovery Point Retreat, Austin Street Center and the Salvation Army (Carr P. Collins center). If you are available and interested, please talk to us after the meeting or you can contact us via email at info@rossavenuegroup.org.
   • Discovery Point Retreat is on Wednesdays at 7:30 PM.
   • Austin Street Center is on Thursdays at 8:00 PM.
   • The Salvation Army (Carr P. Collins center) is on Saturdays at 2:00 PM and on Sundays at 3:00 PM.

4. The Ross Avenue Group recently purchased A.A. pamphlets titled “Problems other than alcohol” by Bill W., co-founder of A.A. You can find them at the back of the meeting room on the book shelf.

5. CityWide Dallas: is on Saturday, May 11^th, 2024 with the potluck dinner starting at 5:30 PM and the speaker at 7:00 PM.

7. New group members can request/apply for service commitments by sending an email to info@rossavenuegroup.org or by attending the group conscience (Sunday, May 12^th, 2024 at 9:45 AM).

8. The current existing Trusted Servant positions are;-
   • Hospitals and Institutions (H&I) Representative – voted in on March 10^th, 2024.
   • Literature Representative – voted in on March 10^th, 2024.
   • Intergroup Representative – voted in on January 14^th, 2024.
   • Public Information Representative.
   • General Service Representative (GSR).
   • Treasurer.
   • Chairperson.
   • Secretary.
   • Co-chairperson.
   • Web servant.

9. We bought 20 more new Big Books, please do not remove them from the meeting room. If you would like to purchase A.A. literature, one of us will be happy to help you after the meeting.

1. Our founder, Lee Tillman’s video from October 22^nd, 2022 is now available on the About Us page.

2. We have a new Big Book Study meeting every Sunday at 4:00 PM and all are welcome.

4. There is new content on the Frequently Asked Questions page of the Website.

5. The Ross Avenue Group hosted CityWide Dallas on Saturday, November 11^th, 2023 from 3:30 pm to 9:00 pm. We are looking for volunteers to help us serve. If you are available and interested, please talk to us after the meeting or you can contact us via email at info@rossavenuegroup.org.

6. Holiday Ornaments Party: The Ross Avenue Group organized and hosted a holiday unity event dubbed HO HO HOliday R.A.G. party on Sunday, December 3^rd, 2023 at 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM. Join us as we raise the tree, decorate ornaments, personalize stockings, deck the meeting room and fellowship over refreshments.
